I am a formally trained graphic designer working at the intersection of technology, science and art. After over a decade of developing brands and websites in the the commercial ad and interactive agency world, I redirect my efforts towards more meaningful work. In 2006 I co-founded and managed the successful brand-launch of an ecological product design company that sought to produce cradle-to-cradle designer office products. In 2015 I joined a small group of scientists working to reconceptualize the scholarly, peer-review publishing system. Along the way I've maintained a fine-arts practice and an independent publishing imprint. Working as an artist, I've published numerous books and have exhibited internationally. Most recently, I co-launched Library Stack: a research archive and database of digital-born media made by contemporary artists.
Developed the brand identity, UX and UI for sci.pe – a new, digital-first approach to science publishing, forefronting peer-review rigor and transparency.
